Forestry
Here at Valhalla we don’t just derive pleasure from beautifying clients domestic properties but also from our time spent working in the wonderful woods that our part of England has to offer. In partnership with Gartland Timber; a family business started in 1945 who our founder just so happens to be related to, we offer a number of forestry services.
What is Forestry
Forestry is the practice and art of managing and caring for forests, including the conservation and sustainable use of forest resources. It encompasses a range of activities aimed at the cultivation, protection, and utilisation of forests for various purposes. Forestry involves both natural and human-made forests and focuses on maintaining the health and vitality of forest ecosystems.

Forestry plays a crucial role in maintaining the health of the planet by contributing to carbon sequestration, providing habitat for wildlife, supporting water quality, and offering recreational opportunities. Sustainable forestry practices aim to balance the economic benefits of wood production with environmental and social considerations to ensure the long-term health and productivity of forest ecosystems.
